Top Tourist Destinations in America

America truly is a vast and varied land in terms of overall beauty.  There are many iconic images from the east coast to the west coast that contain areas of unrivaled beauty, uniqueness and excitement.  Check out a few of the top spots that are popular tourist destinations!

The Grand Canyon

What could be more breathtaking than canyons over a mile deep?  Located in Northern Arizona, the canyon was carved out over many years by the Colorado River, and offers incredible views.  It was established as the 17th U.S. National Park in the year 1919, and has been entertaining tourists for well over a hundred years.

Niagara Falls

"…Slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch…."; while the old vaudeville sketch from the 1930's provides the setting of this famous landmark, nothing can compare to actually seeing the falls in person.  Niagara Falls is actually comprised of three different falls: the American Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.  Horseshoe Falls is on the Canadian side, with the other two on the United States; with over 14 million visitors a year, it is undoubtedly one of the most popular attractions in America.

Las Vegas

The ultimate playground for adults, Las Vegas offers an incredible variety of entertainment: from mega casino hotels to incredible sights, it is the gambling capital of the world.  Situated in the south-eastern part of Nevada and surrounded by desert, Vegas is the destination for stag parties, weddings, intimate getaways and plenty of other reasons.  Make sure this city is on your to-do list!

Washington D.C.

Our nation's capital holds an amazing array of parks, museums and historical artifacts that should be on top of every tourist's "to do" list.  The Smithsonian, The White House, The Washington Monument, the list could go on and on. Most of the exhibits and monuments are free as well, which makes it even more desirable.

Don't forget to pick up some wholesale souvenirs for family and friends when you visit these locations.  Nothing is more exciting than experiencing these locations first-hand and then having a memory of it for years down the road.  These are just a couple of suggestions, so make sure to take the time to plan your destination with these locations in mind!
